Jamil Moughal

Jamil Moughal

I'm a Full-Stack Engineer with 10+ years of experience building production systems across IoT, cloud, and distributed architectures, for European and US-based companies. Currently at Hach in DĂĽsseldorf, working on C#/.NET and cloud/IoT systems.

Since 2020 I've been working independently with Python and AI/ML, not as a side curiosity, but as a serious second track. I build AI-powered tools and believe the most interesting engineering work right now sits at the boundary between language models and real software systems.

I have an indie hacker mindset. I build in public, ship real things, and write honestly about what works and what doesn't. Most of what I learn ends up here or on my X/Twitter.

Originally from Azad Kashmir. Based in DĂĽsseldorf.

Now

Building

24hourscope: a geopolitical and financial news aggregator powered by LLMs.

Reading

Zero to One by Blake Masters and Peter Thiel, and Storytelling methods by Phillip Humm

Learning

Implementing agentic AI workflows on live financial data, building the layer that turns raw market news into structured trading intelligence.

Thinking

How AI agents will redistribute leverage across the economy, who gets more powerful, who gets replaced, and what that means for engineers who build the tools versus those who only use them.

Available for collaborations and consulting

Open to selected engagements alongside my full-time role.

AI integration & LLM-powered products

Helping teams integrate language models into real software, from architecture decisions to working prototypes.

Full-stack .NET & cloud engineering

Backend systems, APIs, Azure infrastructure, and IoT, production-grade work for companies that take reliability seriously.

Early-stage product engineering

For founders who need a technical partner to move fast, make good decisions, and ship something real.
